Although I continue to play with various instruments, most of my career as a musician and pianist accompanist has been in the field of Classical Vocal repertoire and working with classical singers. All my recent and future Projects involve classical singers, working with soloists, choirs, vocal ensembles and performing orchestral parts (e.g. Mozart's Requiem) with choirs.

Het veelbewogen leven van Margaretha Zelle (1876), bekend onder de artiestennaam Mata Hari, is de inspiratiebron voor de nieuwe operaproductie van Delcanto. ‘Reizend’ door Europa brengen solisten en koor haar danskunst, escapades, geldzorgen en spionagewerk in beeld. De Friese Mata Hari leert In Nederlands-Indië de oosterse cultuur en dans kennen. In Parijse theaters maakt zij furore met haar exotische dansen en haar weelderige (half)naakte verschijning. Al gauw weten ook andere Europese theaters haar te vinden.

De VAK Delft en Tamara Obreskova met haar Operavrienden
nemen voor de 2de keer jullie mee in de wereld van de Opera.
Bij opera denken we al gauw aan zware muziek over liefde, macht, dood en treurnis. Maar de operawereld heeft ook een andere kant, die lichter en vrolijker is. Deze combinatie laten we jullie horen tijdens het lunchconcert op 16 september waar we de aantal bekende maar ook vrolijke en humoristische operafragmenten horen van de beroemdste componisten: G.Verdi, P.Mascagni, W.Mozart, G.Gershwin, V.Bellini.

Vivaldi, Pergolesi, Schubert, Mussorgsky, Britten, Hahn, Debussy, Stravinsky, Rachmaninov, Schostakovich. Equilibrium is a project-concert not only in the musical pieces or interaction of performers, but it also applies to life refers to a state of balance and harmony in various aspects of life, including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
Where there is evil, there is always good, where there is hatred, there is love, where there is darkness, there is light. My project is based on such contrasts.

A staged concert of different scenes.
Can you turn a mishmash of different aria’s and songs into scenes with clear characters and a storyline? Yes! By using the connecting themes and cleverly placed clues and props, this performance ended up a feist of variety and colourfulness.
Performed by vocal students of the Conservatoire of Utrecht and pianists Felix Justin and Viktoria Gavrilchenko.
